I changed the My Documents/Broadcast.ini I added the new lines at the end like the Read Me told me to (although it told me to add at 8 but I've 23 Maxis channels so I added after those) But no, I made a custom Broadcast folder and placed the avis in there. So they should have been placed under Movies/Broadcast? What did you add to it and where (in the file)? And do you have the videos in the channel folder in Movies/Broadcast? What's happening is the game can't find the material to show on the screen. It's the Broadcast.ini in My Documents that you change. So the channels showed up but the screen was blue when I tried to make my Sim watch it. I'd have more than 8 channels tho because of the TV-movies (there was 23 Broadcast channels). It didn't help tho.Īs I looked around I found another Broadcast.ini file in the My Documents/EA Games/Config folder. Everything from UserData as that folder was missing).
